Sled dog experiences

Perfect for anyone wanting to learn more about the sport of dog mushing and become familiar with our four-legged ‘rock stars’!  

• Meet and greet with the Alaskan husky “Rock Stars”
• Presentation under a covered, heated outdoor area
• One-mile sled dog ride through a scenic, private birch forest aboard an all-terrain vehicle 
• Puppy time, when available 

• The tour ride utilizes a fully enclosed vehicle with heat and AC, and is comfortable for all ages. Windows and the windshield may be opened for an open-air adventure! 
• Bottled water is provided for each guest
• Restrooms and running water are available on site

• $150 - per person (2 person  minimum) 
• $100  - 12 & under - with a paid adult.

All guests should dress appropriately for the current weather conditions. In the summer, it is helpful to wear clothing that can get muddy and/or dirty. Bring or wear a rain jacket and boots. Please wear closed-toe shoes for maximum safety. 

NOTE: In the best interest of our dogs, if temperatures are warm, we may decide not to run the team. However, the full experience of meeting the dogs, learning about mushing, and exploring the kennel property will still take place. 

Immerse yourself in dog mushing by driving your own team through the same snowy forest we use for training runs! 

• Meet and bond with the kennel’s “rock star” Alaskan huskies 
• Full instruction, including gearing up, in our warm and cozy cabin
• Introduction to the history of mushing, life in our off-grid homestead, and the daily routines of a competitive distance racing kennel
• Hands-on learning, including mushing commands and safety procedures
• A 25-30 minute run through the birch forest behind your own team of dogs
• Puppy time, when available and appropriate

• Bottled water and hot drinks provided 
• Warm, indoor facilities and outdoor heaters are provided during instruction and presentation times

• $200 per person (2 person  minimum) 
• Ages 12 & up
